It was announced today that Miami Fashion Week® will return in 2014 with a lineup that is highly anticipated. Taking place from January 24th – 27th, this year marks an exciting evolution for MIAFW, taking on new event dates and expanding into the streetwear space as it welcomes Karl Kani, the legendary "Godfather of Urbanwear," as its official featured designer.
For 26 years, MIAFW has served as a vibrant platform that transcends boundaries to celebrate fashion as art, culture, and lifestyle. In the diverse city of Miami, the event serves as a cultural bridge that unites fashion enthusiasts from all over the world, and serves to serve as a cultural bridge for many. As attendees will have the opportunity to experience MIAFW at iconic venues such as the Gary Nader Art Museum and its Botero exhibit, they will be fully immersed in the event this year. 
As a vibrant platform that transcends boundaries to celebrate fashion as art, culture, and lifestyle, MIAFW has been a part of the fashion community for more than 26 years. In this year's event, attendees will be able to fully immerse themselves in the world of MIAFW by visiting iconic venues such as the Gary Nader Art Museum and its Botero exhibit.

The MIAFW 2024 program will include a dedicated runway show in honor of Karl Kani, showcasing his signature designs, in addition to MIAFW's robust lineup. As a 16-year-old, Karl Kani saw a gap in the market and decided to start creating apparel at the age of 16, influenced by Hip Hop and street culture. Karl Kani is today a global phenomenon, having introduced the concept of baggy jeans and being the first urban design company with an all-black sales force to begin with.. It will be the first time that the Karl Kani brand will headline MIAFW, as well as the first time that a streetwear designer will ever be a part of the event's programming
