Criteria for selecting the Top Workplaces The Top Workplace selections are made on the basis of employee feedback received from the participating companies. Okuma members were offered the opportunity to complete an anonymous employee engagement survey in the Spring of 2023. As part of the survey, members were asked for feedback on a variety of topics related to job satisfaction and company culture.. It was estimated that more than 80% of Okuma's employees participated in the survey, which was well above the minimum participation rate of 35% required to be considered for the Top Workplace award.. In order to determine the Best Workplace designation, the results of the survey were compared to the results of other participating companies, and the highest-scoring companies were ranked accordingly
