PLP APPOINTS DENNIS F. MCKENNA AS CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER, ROBERT G. RUHLMAN AS EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN

In today's announcement, Preformed Line Products Company announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Dennis F. McKenna as its Chief Executive Officer, effective January 1, 2024. As the CEO of the company, Mr. McKenna will take over from Robert G. Ruhlman, who has served since 2000 and is now the Executive Chairman of the company.
Over the course of his impressive 30-year career, Dennis McKenna has steadily progressed through a variety of leadership roles at PLP after joining the company's ranks in 1993. His most recent position was that of Chief Operating Officer at PLP, where he was in charge of the company's global operations and business development efforts.
Having joined PLP in 1993, Dennis McKenna has steadily progressed through the ranks of the company, becoming a member of various leadership roles over the course of his impressive thirty year career. In his most recent role, Dennis served as PLP's Chief Operating Officer, overseeing the company's global operations as well as its business development teams.
As CEO, Dennis will help lead a company that has experienced multiple years of consistent growth and will focus on continuing to expand the company's global sales, engineering, and manufacturing capabilities. In May, J. Ryan Ruhlman was appointed President of PLP and will be responsible for driving PLP's business development objectives, marketing strategies and people-centric goals as well as driving PLP's marketing strategies.
