Wemade just disclosed a strategic investment in the Indian blockchain initiative Shardeum.
When the company collaborates with Shardeum for WEMIX3.0, its blockchain mainnet, it hopes to achieve synergistic effects. It is also intended to expand business to India.
The first sharded blockchain mainnet built on the Ethereum Virtual Machine is called Shardeum. The blockchain can linearly scale and increase TPS (transactions per second) with every node added to the network thanks to dynamic state sharding technology, and the network can retain cheap gas fees eternally.
The project, which is also India’s first mainnet, is run by Omar Syed, a seasoned blockchain architect, and Nischal Shetty, the creator of WazirX, India’s largest cryptocurrency exchange.
According to Henry Chang, CEO of Wemade, “Shardeum’s great technology and the potentials of the project and Indian market were taken into consideration.” We will keep looking for ways to collaborate with businesses and initiatives that will improve the WEMIX3.0 ecosystem.
