The prepackaged vegetable industry has experienced fast growth over the last two years as a result of changes in consumption habits and the industrial basis, including group buying and cold chain transportation.
Eight new initiatives have recently been introduced in Tai’an City, Shandong Province, China, with the goal of fostering the growth, transformation, and upgrading of industry clusters related to modern food and turning it into a pillar of a highly industrialised city.
In the city of Tai’an, which has a certain industrial foundation, there are currently 43 businesses producing packed veggies, with a major commercial turnover of 9.63 billion yuan. The eight initiatives put forth this time by Tai’an City include the acceleration of healthy development as well as the growth of the high-quality prepackaged vegetable industry. They also include strengthening support for new projects, strengthening credit financing support, strengthening scientific and technological research and innovation, more systematic integration, and accurate improvement effectiveness of the overall efficiency of policies and funds.
