By the end of 2024, Texas Instruments (TI) (Nasdaq: TXN) intends to establish a brand-new, cutting-edge product distribution centre (PDC) in Frankfurt, Germany.
The new PDC will increase the company’s presence in Europe and allow for quicker deliveries to the region’s expanding client base for TI.
Stefan Bruder, president of Texas Instruments Europe, said, “We are excited to extend our European presence in Frankfurt as it offers a central location with connectivity to major customers and our company’s European headquarters in Freising, Germany.” Faster deliveries to our European clients, who are moving quickly to bring cutting-edge products to market, will be possible thanks to Frankfurt’s crucial role as a logistics centre.
The Frankfurt site will provide for same-day delivery in central Germany and next-day delivery capabilities to the majority of clients headquartered in Europe, which is close to many of TI’s industrial and automotive customers. A wide variety of TI technologies will be packaged and shipped from the Frankfurt facility to service customers all around Europe.
Since 1956, TI has been conducting business in Europe. The company has a significant local presence in the region, with a 200-mm wafer fab in Freising, research and development teams, and more than 32 sales offices spread across 18 different European nations. In order to make it simple for consumers to buy the parts they need, when and when they need them, TI.com offers transactions in four local currencies (pounds sterling, euros, Norwegian kroner, and Swiss francs) in addition to U.S. dollars.
