The launch of Novae, LLC, a black-owned fintech company,’s new AI-self driven personal credit software was announced last month. The software, known as myNovaeDisputes Manager, operates by first connecting to users’ credit reports from all three major credit bureaus. Thereafter, algorithms are used to automatically take the best possible actions to find problems that might be affecting the user’s credit profile.
The website of myNovaeDisputes offers credit education and advice on how to improve credit while saving money. Nevertheless, its automated dispute feature is where it really excels.
Major news organisations have repeatedly warned about the alarmingly high rate of errors on consumers’ credit bureau reports over the years. Consumer Reports found that 1 in 3 Americans have at least one error on their official credit reports as of 2021. What’s more troubling is that this percentage has been steadily rising for more than a decade, and there is no indication that it will stop.
