The KanKan business in China has introduced the Five-Education student support system as a subscription-based add-on to its Smart Campus system, according to Remark Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: MARK), a diversified global technology company with cutting-edge artificial intelligence (“AI”) solutions and digital video analytics. The Five-Education system uses data and scenario-based precision analytics, including functionality that tracks each student’s attention span as well as teacher and student engagement, to electronically deliver detailed reports intended to enhance and independently evaluate each student’s overall academic performance.
More than 400 schools in the Zhejiang province have the Five-Education system installed, serving more than one million primary and secondary school students and generating more than 20 million push alerts through the Smart Campus system’s mobile app. The Five-Education add-on was successfully implemented by Remark, which has resulted in increased student performance indicators and higher attendance rates. The business anticipates deploying the $4,200 add-on in about 4,000 schools over the following three years, with the contract’s worth translating into about $17 million in annual recurring revenue by the end of 2026.
