Initial information about the second Future Minerals Forum (FMF), which will take place from October 10 through October 12, 2023, at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center in Riyadh, was released today by the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources (MIM).

FMF 2023 will bring together leaders in the mining sector from around the world, including governments and company executives, and serve as a forum for discussion on the potential of mining in Africa, West Asia, and Central Asia in the future.

His Excellency Bandar Ibrahim Alkhorayef, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, commented on the occasion: “The Future Minerals Forum is a special occasion for top mining executives from around the world to come together, exchange ideas, and investigate the new mining hub that is forming from Africa to West Asia and Central Asia. These lands provide enormous investment opportunities due to their vast untapped mineral resources for those who have the vision and means to promote the growth of the global circular carbon economy and the reform of the carbon sector.”

Over 9,000 people and 170 eminent speakers from around the world, including government ministers, mining investment leaders, and directors of significant mining corporations from over 100 nations, are anticipated at the FMF. High-ranking government delegations and non-governmental groups active in the mining industry will attend the ministerial roundtable on January 10.
