The top 29 African employers for 2022 were revealed today by the Best Places to Work organisation. On the basis of the evaluation of more than 500 enterprises operating across the continent, the certification programme just prepared its annual list.
The top performing companies in Africa continued to put money into building a highly engaged workforce, according to this year’s findings. Their average engagement score was 83%, higher than the market average of 71%. By encouraging organisational agility, developing engaging leaders, and exhibiting excellent people practises and workplace excellence, these firms are notably setting the bar high.
According to the report, employees who do not see good career chances or who disagree with how their firm treats their well-being are three times more likely to quit given the current difficulties with talent retention in Africa.
Novo Nordisk, a multinational pharmaceutical business, came in first place this year, followed by American technology corporation Dell. The third-place finisher was Groupe Vipp Interstis, a top service provider in customer interaction with operations throughout several African nations. Nestle, the top food manufacturer, was followed by Webhelp, a top business process outsourcing and customer relationship management provider, in the rankings. Companies must be recognised as great employers in at least one of the continent’s nations in order to be taken into consideration.
