THIRD MAN HARDWARE AND DONNER RELEASE THE TRIPLE THREAT
A three-in-one analog multi-effects pedal called the Triple Threat, created by Third Man Hardware in partnership with Donner, is the result of their partnership. There is a single pedal called the Triple Threat that was developed by Third Man Hardware and manufactured by Donner. The White Stripes lead man Jack White, founder of Third Man Hardware, was particularly interested in Donner's Alpha series pedals released earlier this year. Jack believed that the quality, versatility, price point and value of the Triple Threat would be ideal for any beginner guitar players from Third Man Hardware, so the two brands collaborated, and the Triple Threat was born. The reason White told Donner he wanted to create a pedal like Triple Threat was because he wanted an affordable pedal for beginning musicians for a long time. It was wonderful to work with Donner because they knew exactly what I was trying to achieve and we were able to come up with a very cool product that wasn't going to break the bank for me as a beginner musician."The Triple Threat pedal includes a high gain distortion with volume, gain, and tone controls, which creates a threatening rock sound, followed by a classic phaser that was upgraded from the Pearl Tremor pedal by Donner with extended mod controls. As the third in line, we have an analog echo, which is based on the Yellow Fall Delay, which was Donner's first pedal released in 2013, with its warm analog tone and rich feedback."All three effects: distortion, phaser and echo are very heavy. The first time I plugged in the prototype version that Donner sent to me, I was very impressed with them. "White talks about the three effects. There are many types of music that you can use with this set of effects, but not opera." He adds, "The Triple Threat will fit very well on my pedal board, and it is suitable for all genres."Third Man Hardware designed the external appearance of The Triple Threat, which includes its trademark patterns such as lightning bolts from the Tesla tower on the panel, three sharp lines across the front and the signature diagrams from Third Man Hardware's logo on both sides of the pedal.. By upgrading the circuit design and tuning the tone to Jack's specifications, Donner combined three analog circuits into one metal enclosure, offering simplicity, unique analog sounds, and versatility for beginning musicians on the go, all in one unit.
