Through Sectra Amplifier Services, an international medical imaging IT and cybersecurity company, Sectra (STO: SECT B), will help Trillium Health Partners (THP) in Canada adopt artificial intelligence (AI) technology. In this way, THP will be able to introduce AI-enabled workflows into its diagnostic imaging department, which will assist in identifying serious health conditions earlier, allowing for earlier intervention and better health outcomes for patients.

The Trillium Health Partners hospital sees an average of 1.6 million patient visits a year across its three main locations, and last year alone, more than 695,000 diagnostic tests were performed. In this new contract, signed during Sectra's second quarter of the fiscal year 2023/2024, THP will become the first Canadian customer to connect Sectra Enterprise Imaging PACS to Sectra Amplifier Services as a result of the engagement.
