WeRide Expands European Presence with Autonomous Robobus Shuttle Deployment at Zurich Airport

1 0
In partnership with Flughafen Zrich AG and the Swiss Transit Lab, WeRide Inc. will deploy its robotic shuttle service at the airport.
The first commercial bus shuttle project at a European airport will be the WeRide Robobus.
WeRide's taxi completed route mapping at the airport before the start of the test.
WeRide was able to overcome the challenges at the foot of the Alps due to its strong technical capabilities and rich implementation experience.
During the French Open in Paris, Robobus provided efficient shuttle services on a five-kilometer route, as part of an ongoing collaboration with Renault Group to promote low-carbon public transportation solutions.
WeRide's automated driving technology has undergone extensive testing and validation across more than 30 cities in seven countries.
Flughafen Zrich AG said in a statement that "WeRide possesses a fully developed and thoroughly tested technology, meets all of the legal and safety requirements in place at Zurich Airport and guarantees that it will meet the data protection requirements set out."
The company will work with the lab to make sure the service runs smoothly.
WeRide was listed on the Global Select Market under the ticker symbol "WRD".
