XCharge North America Launches First Truly Battery-Integrated Electric Vehicle Charger at Opening of Facility in Kyle, Texas

XCharge North America (NA), an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) that specializes in innovating Level-3 electric vehicle (EV) chargers and energy storage devices, today announced its intention to launch a new battery-integrated electric vehicle charger in Kyle, Texas. As part of the launch, the company unveiled the Net Zero Series, the first truly battery-integrated electric vehicle charger in the U.S.
The Net Zero Series by XCharge NA is the first battery-integrated electric vehicle charger in the U.S. to offer a true battery-integrated charging experience.
A number of XCharge NA officials, along with Kyle Mayor Travis Mitchell, and the Kyle Chamber of Commerce, were on hand to mark the official opening of the charging station and to express their dedication to working with the city and county to promote local economic growth.
In a region with a lack of charging infrastructure, XCharge NA's facility will provide significant improvements in local access to electric vehicles (EVs) by significantly enhancing local EV accessibility. As a result of the fact that there are only 20 public-access Level-2 and DC fast charging stations in this area, which encompasses Kyle, San Marcos, and neighboring cities, there is a shortage of public charging stations in this area.
The Greater San Marcos Partnership has been working with XCharge NA to develop its 3,500-square-foot facility for the past year. With future plans for expanding the facility to approximately 20,000 square feet in the coming years, this facility will be primarily dedicated to the technical aspects of XCharge NA's business operations. In terms of supporting green initiatives, particularly those in the area of electric vehicles charging infrastructure, this expansion represents a significant step forward.
Aatish Patel, President of XCharge North America, says, "Today marks the opening of our facility along with the launch of the Net Zero Series charger, demonstrating our commitment to innovation, environmental responsibility, and the local community." Each charge we make not only fuels our vehicles, but propels us towards a more environmentally friendly, interconnected future with each passing second."
It is expected that XCharge NA's presence in the community will not only increase the availability of EV charging stations, but it will also contribute to the local community's initiative and events while also creating job opportunities that will further enhance the local economy and workforce.
We are very excited about the addition of the XCharge NA facility to Kyle and we look forward to welcoming them. Mayor Mitchell said that the addition of the facility will benefit the entire region. As a part of the growing expansion of electric vehicle infrastructure in Central Texas, Kyle is being a key player in the effort to support XCharge NA, which fills a critical need in this burgeoning industry.
It is the mission of XCharge North America to provide UL-compliant high-power intelligent charging solutions for electric vehicles that are specifically designed for use with the North American electrical system.
